Thank you to all of you who took part in the sponsored swim in May. Well done to all involved. Sponsor money is starting to come in. If there are any further sponsor monies to come in please hand these in to the front desk. We are also looking into a social night out for the swimmers, further details to follow.

Nottingham Northern Open Meet

What a great day at the Northern Open. The swimmers were very well behaved and all excited for the day ahead. The PBs started coming in and kept coming. At the end of a long day a fantastic 85 PBs were achieved. But it did not stop there. Grace Phillips achieved 2nd PBs in 2 of her 3 finals. Eoin Byrne was in 4 finals getting 3rd for his freestyle and Solomon Rose got into the Breaststroke final. I hope you are all very proud of yourselves - you all did brilliantly. Thank you to the team of team managers that helped on the day.

Congratulations to:
Rob MacDonald and Nick Brazener for passing their J1 officials.

If anyone is interested in helping out officiate please contact Michelle Hammond. She is always happy to help and get new members on our team of officials. Mick Morley and Michelle are our official's mentors and will help you every step of the way. Don't forget we need qualified and training officials for club champs as they are licenced and our time trials. We cannot run these galas without the correct amount of officials so any help is gratefully received.

Good luck
To all swimmers who have taken exams this summer.

A Reminder to Parents and Carers
Please remember as a parent/carer you are responsible for your child whilst they are at the pool. You are responsible for your child if they have a problem such as with their goggles, or become ill during the session. We appreciate that on occasion you may not be able to stay poolside. If this is the case you must ask another parent to be responsible for your child and let the child and their coach know who is looking after them.

Club Champs
Club champs will be held in October and November entry forms will be issued before the summer break. Please return these promptly. Please see our website for more info.

Presentation Evening 'Save the Date'
Our Annual presentation evening for all children who have taken part in Club Champs is to be held on Saturday 25/11/17
.

This is a fantastic evening where coaches, parent and children can come together and celebrate the children's achievements. Tickets will be available in October.
